Marketing On Hold Systems FAQ:

1. Is using the radio or a CD for on-hold music legal?

- No.  Unless you pay yearly dues to a performing rights organization (i.e. ASCAP, BMI, SESAC), it is considered a performance to play the radio or an album for the public in your business and on your phone system, and therefore it is also a violation of copyright law.


2. Does my phone system support an on-hold system?

- Probably. Our equipment is compatible with 95% of analog phone systems.  We can also deliver the audio file for upload into any digital system.


3. What if I want to change my message?

- The type of package you purchase will determine the number of “edits” to your message you will receive.  If you will require a high number of “edits” (changes to your message) please consider the Platinum package.


4. What’s the difference between a normal on-hold system and a Marketing On Hold System from DreamVizion Productions?

- You have hopefully purchased a Marketing On Hold System from DreamVizion with the intention of utilizing your customers’ time spent on hold as valuable advertising time.  This is what sets our MOHS systems apart from every other on-hold system.  Our messages are delivered with the intent to advertise, inform, upsell, as well as entertain and appease your callers.  Other on-hold systems just fill in silence.


5. Does DreamVizion Productions provide electronic messaging services?

- No.  We only deal with your on-hold system.


6. Will I own the hardware that is installed?

- This depends on the terms agreed on when you signed the contract for your Marketing On Hold System.  We offer either a leasing or a buyout option for the on-hold equipment.  Of course, if you have your own equipment that is compatible and able to use the file, then it will not be necessary for you to purchase or lease any equipment.


7. Is a Marketing On Hold System from DreamVizion Productions affordable?

- YES! We offer three different monthly subscription packages that will fit into virtually any budget.  You can choose to pay monthly or yearly, whichever works best for you.  We can even lease your on-hold equipment to you for a fraction of the cost.  Contact us today to get started!


8. What if my business/organization has multiple locations?

- Each contract is limited to one location. This is due to the difference in locational information within the message.  However, if your business desires to have a consistent message at multiple locations or branches, we will be happy to negotiate a “group deal” on a case to case basis.


9. How soon can my Marketing On Hold System be ready?

- Our MOHS systems can be ready, delivered, and installed within 5-7 business days.


10. How big of a message can I have on my system?

- Your message will be limited to 3-4 minutes.
